Question

over 256 characters won't zap from Google Sheets to Monday.com

Dataslayer brings LinkedIn data into a Google Sheet and I’m using a Zap to update a board in Monday.com

I am getting an error that the LinkedIn content is over 256 characters so can’t be zapped. I’ve made a truncated column in the sheet and experimented all the way down to 150 characters, but it still errors.  

Is this an error in Zapier or in Monday.com?

For clarity and context, please post detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured, the encountered Zap step error, and outline a specific example for us, thanks.

What Monday column type are you trying to use?

Long Text columns have a 2,000 character limit.

@davetilmouth I know it’s been awhile but I wanted to check in and see if you were able to resolve the error message?
