Odoo ERP Self Hosted error: Authentication failed: Fault (Code AccessDenied) occurred. Message: Acces denied


An error ocurre when I try to connect my www…database......odoo.com with Zapier. 

The connection fail and I receive a message from Zappier’s popup including the message:

Authentication failed: Fault (Code AccessDenied) occurred. Message: Acces denied

  1. Make sure you click “Allow or “accept” on the prmission popup
  2. Double check your account has the correct permissions
  3. Chech out our “help docs” for more information.

the thing is I can not see any additional popup or message trying to open a new popup

The user and passoword introduced is ok. and the “help docs don’t include any information using odoo selfhosted zap.

Any help on this? Many thanks in advance

For self hosted, It then links to the OpenERP integration instead: https://zapier.com/apps/openerp/integrations

Hi, Many thanks for your answers. Unfortunatelly it seems they don’t work for me.

I tried to configure the integration using the how-get-started-openerp but I can not follow all stepts becuase the message I receive when I try to connect the applilcations is quite different.

You can see on the picture that I don’t see the “database name” field. So. could you help me on that way?

Thank you for sharing those details!

I’ve taken a look at the article, but the authentication window seems similar to the one you sent: https://zapier.com/help/doc/how-get-started-openerp

 

I noticed a difference in the field to add a name to the connected account. Is that the one you are referring to?

The authentication for Odoo ERP self-hosted accounts may have changed recently, so I would recommend filling in the Base URLusername, and password fields and seeing if that works.
