However, in the action step, I can only see "Send Prompt" as the available event.
I would like to use "Send Message" instead, which allows for a conversation-like format and better continuity in AI responses.
I already reinstalled the app and connected my OpenAI account, but still only "Send Prompt" appears.
Do I need to install a different version of the ChatGPT app (e.g. "By OpenAI")?
Or is "Send Message" only available under certain conditions?

As the link Troy shared shows, there’s a number of different actions available for the ChatGPT (OpenAI) app on Zapier. So you should definitely be seeing more than only a Send Prompt action. 🤔 It could be that you’ve got an older version of the app, so I’d recommend double-checking that the Zap is running the latest version.
In the latest version of the ChatGPT app it looks like the Conversation action would be the closet match for the “Send Message” action you’re looking for:
