Hi @miralbhatti
Help links for using each app in Zaps:
Hi @miralbhatti,
We just wanted to see how everything is going with your Zap. Did Troy's recommendation get the job done? Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance with your Zap. We're glad to address any concerns and assist you.
We're looking forward to your response.
Hi @JammerS,
I tried following Troy's recommendation, but unfortunately it's not working for me. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a direct Snowflake-to-Notion integration available.
To clarify my main issue:
I’ve successfully connected both Snowflake and Notion to Zapier. However, when I try to select a database or table in Zapier:
Could you please help me troubleshoot this?
Thanks!
Hi @miralbhatti,
If you're experiencing integration issues between Snowflake and Notion in Zapier, verify that both apps are correctly connected in the "My Apps" section and show no errors. Ensure your Snowflake account has the necessary database and table permissions and that Notion's integration has access to the required databases. Try refreshing data, reconnecting the apps, and checking database visibility to ensure they are accessible. Confirm that you're using the latest Zapier integrations for both apps, as updates may resolve connectivity issues. Lastly, reviewing the help documentation for Snowflake and Notion can provide additional troubleshooting guidance. These steps help resolve the problem effectively.
If you've tried all these steps and are still encountering issues, please provide any additional error messages or details you may have. Additionally, you can reach out to Zapier Support for further assistance. They can investigate your specific account setup and help resolve the issue.
The problem I'm facing is that when I try to select a column, it shows "No options are available for the Snowflake table." But the table in Snow
flake does have columns — they just aren't showing up here.
Hi @miralbhatti,
To troubleshoot issues selecting columns from a Snowflake table in Zapier, first verify that the table and columns are accessible and not restricted by permissions. Use Zapier's "Refresh Fields" option to reload available fields and check for temporary glitches. Confirm that the Snowflake connection settings in Zapier are correctly authenticated and that recent schema changes have been appropriately saved. Ensure that your Zapier integration with Snowflake is up to date. If problems persist, test with a different Snowflake table to determine whether the issue is specific to one table or a broader integration concern.
Hi @JammerS ,
According to you, I have completed all the required steps:
-
All Zaps in Zapier have been refreshed
-
The table has Ownership permission, which is the main required permission
-
The Snowflake connection is working properly
-
The same issue persists across different tables
Despite all this, it is still not working.
Thank you for your response.
Hi there, @miralbhatti
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here to lend a hand. I see you reached out to our Support Team about this as well and they spotted an error in your Zap’s logs that suggests there’s an issue with the permissions for the CONTACTS table:
“I've taken a look at our logs and I can see when we request the columns we are receiving the following error:
Table 'CONTACTS' does not exist or not authorized
As we can see the CONTACTS table does exist it looks like this may be a permissions issue. Could you confirm that the connected account has full read and write permissions for the CONTACTS table?
It may also be worth checking if the same issue occurs for other tables. If another table does load the columns, you could compare the permissions between that table and CONTACTS to determine what permission settings may be missing.”
You mentioned that the account you’ve connected has Ownership level permissions but looking at the Snowflake’s API requirements here it seems that the account may need to have ACCOUNTADMIN privileges:

Can you try connecting the Zap to an account that is an ACCOUNTADMIN in Snowflake, and let me know if that then allows you to access the columns for the CONTACTS table in the Column Name field?
Hey @miralbhatti—just checking in! Did connecting the Zap to a Snowflake account with ACCOUNTADMIN privileges help to get things solved?
Want to make sure this gets sorted, so please keep us posted on how it went!
