I’m trying to set up a zap that sends an email to the user when they fill out a form on my Webflow site. The form has several sample submissions, yet when I test the trigger it keeps coming up with “no submission found”. I’ve tried all the suggestions from AI with the same result. It looks like someone else had the same problem as me, but it ended up just working out I guess?

Hi @dapperpage,

Welcome to the Community.

If Zapier doesn't recognize your Webflow form submissions despite sample submissions, check that Zapier is correctly integrated with Webflow and authorized for the correct project. Ensure the form's submission settings and specific fields are set up correctly. Confirm you're using the "New Form Submission" trigger in Zapier, and try submitting a fresh test form on the live site. Ensure the form is published on the live site, not just in the designer. Waiting or contacting Webflow or Zapier support may help if the issue persists.

Dear, I have same issue too.
To update webflow v1.1 > webflow, I changed app, and setting account, site, form name.
But It shows  "New Form Submission". What i’ve tried..
- reconnect zapier app in webflow admin
- submit test record
- setting new form and published in webflow. (it shows up in zapier well..)

but still frustrating about it..
is there any option or changing in webflow?
plz help

Same. Zapier/Webflow sent me an email basically telling me how to break my Webflow automation because they can’t be bothered to test if things are actually working.

Hi there @JammerS!

Thanks for jumping on this issue and assisting the crew in this thread; seems like we are all experiencing very similar issues.

I received an email from Zapier noting that I needed update the “App” in Zapier from “Webflow v1.1” to “Webflow.” To that, I updated everything correctly, but for some reason, it is not pulling the correct test data (despite there being over 100+ form submissions already to this very form). Also, in the Send Outbound Email > Configure, there is no option to select the individuals email address who submitted the form.

I have tried re-setting it up, and I am still experiencing issues.

Any way you can take a look into this for me?

Hi @JammerS

I have the same issue. My webflow form submissions (live site, account reconnected, etc.) don’t show up in the test trigger. I even published a new site and new form to test it. The entries show up in my Webflow dashboard immediately, yet I can’t get them in Zapier to use them further. Any other advise on how to tackle this? I need the test submissions to map out the further steps correctly and to funnel the correct data into our databases.

Must be a recent issue. When I was working on the Zapier funnel last week everything worked correctly. Any advise would be very helpful.

It looks like you're running into a known issue with Webflow. Our team is aware of the issue and is working with Webflow to fix it. I've added everyone's email address as another affected member. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track and prioritize fixes
  • Allows us to notify you via email if/when this is fixed

Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA, but I've added you to the list of users affected by this issue so we can let you know as soon as we have any updates.

We hope this helps.

Any updates on this?

still not working. let me know once this issue is resolved. Thank you!

This has been fixed. Here is an excerpt from the support email I was sent:

**Please refresh the Form Field and reselect the Form you would like to trigger.** Here is an example https://cdn.zappy.app/v506b9ad279bef835efddd52958abcb3e.mp4

You won’t need to make any changes to your existing Zaps, but if there are Zaps you were hoping to create, you can head on over to the editor and make those happen

I got the same email 4 days ago from Zapier Contact, too. but im still seeing the issue on my end.

Hi everyone,

After checking the recent ticket that was raised regarding this issue, it was advised that this issue is already resolved. Refresh the form field for any users experiencing this issue and select the form you want to trigger.

If you are still experiencing some difficulties. Don’t hesitate to contact our Support team. https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Thank you.

Still persists. The Webflow team is not exactly known to be fast in fixing bugs :/

Hi @julianr,

We sincerely apologize if the issue still persist, kindly contact our Support team to troubleshoot the issue further.

I am also experiencing the issue. Brand new form, brand new zap, brand new connection. Even though I created a couple submissions, they don’t appear in the test for the zap.

I am having the same issue. The old Webflow Zapier app 1.1 was working 100% fine but ever since the new Webflow app (which will retire the old one in Jan 2025, as notified by email).

I’m having massive problems with finding sample submissions. So I’m using Webflow Form Submissions. The forms are appearing fine but when testing it, it’s displaying 0 submission when there are clearly submissions made.

But when I go use the old Webflow app 1.1 (which I do by having it in my previous Zap and duplicated it) everything works fine.

Am I missing something?

--

Further to this why can’t when Webflow 1.1 retire it automatically get’s upgraded to the new Webflow app rather than going in and re-linking everything which is very scary and delicate.

Thanks.

I´m also having this problem. The form works fine but no submissions in Zapier.

I got it to work using the method as @theSBA refers to above by duplicating an old zap that uses Webflow app 1.1.

Hope they can get this to work soon because this it is really frustrating!

I’ve found a partial work around for this, and it’s a little mind blowing that Webflow and Zapier’s collective efforts couldn’t work this out.

Step 1

Submit a test form

Step 2

See what the different data is categorised as

Remove ‘Form Response’ to correctly identify the data category’s name e.g. emails are categorised as ‘Email’ (not ‘Form Response Email’). Keep a note of these. If a category for the data you want to record isn’t in the test form then unfortunately you won’t be able to record that data. If Zapier populate their test forms with more options for custom variables this would resolve this issue.

Step 3

Go to Webflow, find your form, click on it and go to it’s settings tab, scroll down to find the TEXT FIELD SETTINGS and rename it to the category name you identified in Step 2. Be warned, this will change name of the form’s ID. You may need to change the ‘Type’ setting too if your data isn’t email data.

Step. 4.

Publish your website & test the forms on your website. This should partially resolve it.

I know this doesn’t leave much room for custom inputs but it’s a temporary partial resolution if you need to just capture basic info. Otherwise I’d recommend using a 3rd party form tool like Typeform until this is resolved.

I’m having the same issue.

I am also having this issue. Please fix this asap.

Hi friends,

Our engineering team pushed a fix 12 hours ago regarding this issue. Could you please confirm if you’re still running into the same issue here?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Hi Ken! Unfortunately, the issue still persists. I tried to reconnect Zapier to Webflow, but still cannot see any submissions. May I be of any help?

Can confirm that the issue persists for me, too.
Tried reconnecting the Webflow account and setting up new zaps for it as well with no change.
