Question

no endpoints work with Pardot api request action

So i’m wanting to retreive a pardot campaign by name and return the ID, this involves a query GET, also the read GET doesnt work when i do have the ID.

no matter what levers i pull or what i change i cannot get this action on the zapier pardot app to work. Authentication is supposed to be automatically appended to this request correct?

Hi @trent warrick

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap step is configured in the CONFIGURE tab with the field mappings.

Also, include the link to the Pardot API endpoint documentation you used to configure the API request.

Just to advise, when posting a screenshot to the Community, it is essential to obscure any sensitive information within the screenshot for security purposes. Thank you. We're looking forward to troubleshooting your issue further.

I didnt include the configure, because other than the URL end point, no body is required. And since this is attached to the pardot app, apparently authentication is handled already, thus no aut headers.

but im working with this part of the pardot api: https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/marketing/pardot/guide/campaigns-v4.html#campaign-read

@trent warrick

Things to check/try…

Did you check the Troubleshoot tab for more info about the error?

The GET request may expect query string parameters.

Event though the Pardot API request does not require any.

Try adding a dummy key/value.

As an alternative (if available), try creating a Custom Action for Pardot with the help of AI: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/16277139110157-Create-a-custom-action

Hey there @trent warrick 👋

How did you get on with Troy’s suggestions? Were you able to get that API Request working or did switching over to a Custom Action do the trick?
