Hi, I have a new Zap that triggers with a New Order Paid in Shopify. The problem is that the Zap started triggering twice for any new order. 

I’ve noticed that the New Order Paid (Scheduled) has been deprecated and that now we have a New Order Paid (Instant). Anyone experiencing the same? This is a big problem for us.

Good question.

Are Zap Runs triggering twice at the same time or at different times?

It may be the result of how the Zap trigger settings are configured.

Check your Zap Runs history details to see the timestamps for each Zap Run.

Providing proof in the form of screenshots will help give us context.

This may be the result of some Shopify side subprocesses running causing the Zap to fire twice.

You can add these steps to filter out duplicates

  1. Trigger: Shopify - New Paid Order
  2. Action: Delay - After Queue
    1. This is to make Zap Runs process in order
  3. Action: Airtable - Find/Create Record
    1. Log the Order Number
  4. Action: Filter
    1. Found an existing record from step 3 was false
