Question

My newly created leads from Salesforce won't convert into opportunities.

Hi there,

 

I am trying to create a Zap where when a contract is signed => update salesforce.

 

The issue is that if there is no lead, we need to create a lead and then convert that lead to an opportunity and update that same opportunity. 

 

I keep running into issues where it will create the lead but wont convert the lead data to an opportunity.

 

If you have any help, or suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, are you able to outline your current zap(s) and share a screenshot (with any personal details obscured) of your “Create Lead” and conversion steps? That may help us troubleshoot with ya!

I imagine this should be achievable using some form of Filters by Zapier or Paths by Zapier and either the “Update Record” or “Update Leads” Salesforce action to handle the “If the lead doesn’t exist” conversion scenario. We’ll know more once getting eyes on your zap though. 🤗
