My Jotform submission text not appearing in my Buffer post via Zapier

I am trying to get a Jotform submission fields which is text to go to Buffer.

 

The process seems to work but returns zero content in the buffer post. Says it loads to buffer during the zap but no content appears. What do you think I am doing wrong?

 

Online it says to load it as an Idea re: acton but it does not even create anything. Although the Zap said it was sent????

Hey northernboy,

It looks like the field names on your Jotform have changed since the Zap setup, which will cause these problems. Here’s the process I would recommend to get this working again:

 

  1. Rename your Jotform fields to be something more simple. Right now they’re hundreds of characters long. Can you call them something more simple and provide the instructions in another part of the form?
  2. Submit a test form
  3. Edit step 1 to pull in the new field names and values
  4. Edit step 2 to map those new fields from step 1
