Mural action: Zap failing when using custom (Mural) area, custom Shape

Hi,

I’m encountering issues when creating a Zap that aims to add a stickie on a Mural board. This happens when I specify either a custom (Mural) area or a custom Shape. When the zap uses custom color, custom text, the Zap works fine.

The error returned is: “The sticky could not be sent to MURAL: The app returned ‘invalid payload’”

FYI: My trigger is a Google spreadsheet.

Hi @obeghain

Check the dropdown values for standardized fields with options.

There are 2 values for each option:

  1. Friendly value
  2. Internal ID (smaller gray font)
    1. The Zap expects this value

Hi @Troy Tessalone ,

Thanks for you reply it helps.

It appears that the Zapier interface limits the retrieval of areas to 100 which is a problem when having more than 100 areas in a mural board. I anyway found that the id of a Mural area can be found too in the hyperlink towards that area (but this requires a one to one consultation of the hyperlinks :-) )
