I created a Zap with these three parts, in order to send a message to a Slack channel when somebody mentions a keyword in any public channel.
- Trigger: New Mention from Slack
- Step: Delay by Zapier
- Step: Send Channel Message from Slack
This Zap was working during my free trial, but has now been turned off because it is a ‘Multi-Step Zap’ using Pro Features. I duplicated this Zap but removed the delay and Zapier says this is an acceptable Zap with my free plan.
This tells me that Zapier is treating the ‘Delay’ as a step when the site says: “The Delay feature in Zapier is available on all plans, including the Free plan.”
Note that this Zap does not function for me without the 1 minute delay which puts me in a bind. Any assistance, either with getting the Zap working without the delay or figuring out why this is considered a Pro Feature would be appreciated.
