I received the following error message when trying to connect dynamic data (invoice Number) from Quickbooks online to my Monday.com board Item ID column (Quote Number): Error message: (InvalidItemIdException) Item not found

After doing a number of tests, I was able to confirm that if the data (invoice number) coming from Quickbooks is put into my zap in a static format, then the zap works just fine but since I need new invoices to create an update in my Monday.com board using the invoice number from Quickbooks then it can’t be a static setting.  So the issue is definitely connected to the ItemID being set as dynamic.

 

Any idea on how to resolve?

Can you post screenshots of Data In, Data Out, the error as well as how each Zap step is configured for us to have more context?

Based on what you described if it’s working in static mode, then it’s probably a formatting issue. Try to Formatter in Zapier to remove any extra spaces or special characters from the ID.
