Setting up my first ZAP here!

I’m trying to have my excel sheet update my monday board when a row changes, but it won’t recognize all of my rows..

Yes, it’s a rather large workbook, but it would be great if possible.

Hi there @jakeprodsaw,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Before you’re able to use Microsoft Excel spreadsheet as a Zap. Zapier requires you to set them up in a specific way, by adding headers to the columns of your spreadsheet.

You can read more about that here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496044256909-How-to-Setup-Your-Microsoft-Excel-sheet-to-Work-With-Zapier#other-microsoft-excel-zap-tips-0-0

Additionally, in the context of Zapier and trigger sample data, "Row A," "Row B," "Row C," etc., often refer to rows in a spreadsheet or data table. When Zapier pulls sample data from your connected app, it displays the data from different rows for you to review and use in setting up the rest of your Zap.

You can also read about that here: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/set-up-your-zap-trigger

Hopefully, this points you to the right direction! 😊

Thank you!

Now, the next problem!

Effectively, I’m trying to mirror my excel sheet into Monday using the Update Item Name & Change Multiple Columns Value. See below..

I have a zap setup for each of the first three lines of my excel sheet into the corresponding rows of my Monday board.

The problem I’m now having is that when it does perform the task (after I alter the trigger column on one row), the zaps all either retrieve the same data, or get switched up in order. I have yet to have all three zaps work simultaneously.

I’ve gone over the items in each of the fields multiple times to make sure they are all grabbing a different row, but it gets tripped up somehow.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi there @jakeprodsaw,

Unfortunately, I couldn’t replicate the issue you’re experiencing, but looking at the screenshot of your Zap setup I can’t see anything wrong with the Zap setup.

Also, you mentioned that the Zaps all either retrieve the same data, or get switched up in order. I would recommend reaching out to our Support team regarding this issue. They can look closer at the Zap and its logs and determine the root cause of the issue.

You can reach our Support team here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hopefully, this helps! 😊
