Lookup table working but replacing the wrong row on spreadsheet

I have a zap with a lookup table.   The lookup is working great.  However, when I run the zap, it replaces a row that is not in the zap.  How do I make sure the zap runs correctly?

Hey there, @lesatron 👋

I can see that you also reached out to our Support team, who identified the cause of the issue, but it wasn’t confirmed whether their suggestion resolved things. I’ll share their suggestion here in case it’s helpful for anyone else running into a similar issue with updating rows in Google Sheets:

Looking at your Zap, I see that the Row field of the Update Spreadsheet Row was mapped with data that does not point to the row that the step needs to update. Here is a screenshot showing you what I am talking about:

Since the Row field expects a row ID and you have a Lookup Spreadsheet Row step, I suggest mapping either the Row or ID fields from the Lookup Spreadsheet Row step into the Row field of the Update Spreadsheet Row. Here is a screenshot showing you what I am talking about:

Hopefully their suggestion did the trick. If not, or if you need any more help, just let us know—we’re happy to assist further! 🙂

Hi @lesatron

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Hi @lesatron,

Just to follow up with the screenshot so we can direct you to the right resolution. Please make sure to obscure any sensitive information for security purposes. Thank you.
