I’m trying to set up a LinkedIn lead gen entry > create new contact in Mailchimp zap (because the feature within Mailchimp is currently down). But it’s pulling in completely different fields than what is in my form. Any advice?

Here’s my form:

And here’s what Zapier is pulling in:

Hi @edickson

Make sure to test your Zap trigger step in the TEST tab.

Screenshots shows the test was skipped, thus why only dummy data was returned.

I don’t have any form entries, so can’t test with actual data

@edickson

Help links for using LinkedIn Ads in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/linkedin-ads/integrations#help

These cover how to test your forms.

Hey @edickson, just checking in! Did the help guides Troy shared a link to help you to get this sorted?

If not, try setting up the Zap with the example fields, then turn the Zap on and run a live test by adding a new test lead. That should trigger the Zap for the test lead. Once it has, you can then edit the Zap and use the live Zap run as the test record for the Zap (see: Select from previous Zap run for details). That should allow you to access the missing form fields.

Keep us posted on how you’re getting on, want to make sure this gets sorted! 🙂
