I used Zapier to link new entries in an Airtable base to Klaviyo. The goal is to auto-subscribe these contacts to our newsletter list in Klaviyo.

 

In our newsletter list, ‘Single Opt-in’ has been selected for ages, yet our customers receive an email to confirm their subscription to the newsletter.

 

I have no clue how to stop these confirmations from popping up.

Can you post screenshots showing how your Kalviyo Zap step is configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings and field selections?

The Zap says it was successful, but the subscriber wasn't added to the list

If your list is set to use double opt-in in Klaviyo, new subscribers won't be added to the list right away, but will receive a confirmation email.
Once the person confirms that they want to opt-in, they will then appear on the list.

The Klaviyo Newsletter list is set to single opt-in (see screenshot).

An option to try for troubleshooting, is to check with Klaviyo Support.


@ken.a @Troy Tessalone Do you have any other suggestions that might be able to solve this issue? Unfortunately, Klaviyo has not been able to help me with this either.


Hi @Crodeon Team,

Could you please try clearing the selected value on the “Consent to subscribe to Channel” field? That could be the reason why it’s still sending a confirmation email to your customers.
