Line Item Amount error despite using formatter tool to create line item value

Hi,

I have created a zap to create an invoice in quickbooks when I receive a new order in shopify.

I am getting a line item error as follows

 

Shopify does not total the line items, so I created a zapier formatter step to generate price X quantity as below, and used this as a custom field which is what lots of the other forums suggest.

 

 

Also for more detail, I have included my formula, which I understand is the correct way to create a line item

 

 

Any help is greatly appreciated in fixing my issue!

Hi @Bubblegum , 

 

The Amount here is looking for the Amount (total) for each line item individually. So is the Qty and Rate. 

 

I have done this before and this is how it works, see screenshot
