I set up a Zap for Lead Connector (form in GHL that sales guys fill out after visiting a new potential business lead) to update a Google Sheet.

I’m running into an issue where my GoHighLevel custom fields aren’t showing up inside Zapier. I’ve already created the fields in GHL, but when I go to map them in Zapier, they don’t appear in the dropdown.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Created the fields under Settings → Custom Fields (not just on a form).

  • Made sure the fields are tied to Contacts (not Opportunities).

  • Clicked Refresh fields in Zapier.

  • Added a test contact in GHL with data filled into those custom fields and pulled it into Zapier.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

If it makes a difference, one of the fields is a drop down for “Tech Name” and the other one is “Notes” from the sales visit. Going to attach screenshots ASAP

Hi @Nick Crimpin

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode in the CONFIGURE tab
  • how your Custom Fields are configured in GHL

Here are all the screenshots @Troy Tessalone

@Nick Crimpin

Make sure to test an Opportunity in Zapier AFTER the Zap trigger was configured.

You can try this workaround: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/35632951078029-Use-previous-Zap-runs-as-trigger-test-records

Hey @Nick Crimpin 👋 How did you get on with Troy’s suggestion of using a Zap run for the test record? Did that allow you to access the missing custom fields in the Zap?

Let us know how it went, keen to make sure this gets sorted! 🙂

@Nick Crimpin
hey you can fetch these custom fields through AI by Zapier which are not showing over here.
