Klaviyo error: The app returned "Invalid input.".

Hi, I have a problem with the Klaviyo integration, I set up an automation so that the lead that is left from a form on the site is first recorded on Google Sheets and then sent to Klaviyo via the "Create or Update Profile" function.

However, it gives me input error and I can't understand why, it has nothing to do with the phone number because I have no interest in bringing this data to Klaviyo.

Hi @Jack Xformance

Klaviyo may be detecting the name or email as invalid because it has the word “test”.

Have you clicked on “help me fix it”?

I can’t find any documentation, but it might be the hyphen in your custom property name. Try an underscore or putting the “words” together instead. i.e. tipoLm

Nah, I use that all the time. No problems there.

I also tried deleting the custom property, it gives me the same error

You still didn’t mention if you clicked the ‘help me fix it’ link. Normally, it actually does a pretty good job of spotting the error.

I also just noticed that you’re putting the full name in the first name field. It shouldn’t matter since names like Billy Bob and Lisa Marie exist, but maybe having a space in the first name field is causing it?

Have you also checked the Klaviyo List ID to make sure that list still exists?

Hi @Jack Xformance, just checking in—were you able to get this sorted? If so, was it the Klaviyo List ID that was incorrect, or did you find a different solution?

Want to make sure you’re all set here so please do let us know if you need more help! 🙂
