Issues setting up a new trigger with SendGrid in Zapier

I have been trying to set up a new trigger using SendGrid, and it will no longer allow me to select it. SendGrid appears when I search, but it’s grayed out and cannot be chosen. I have a active Zap that uses SendGrid, and that one seems to be unaffected. I just can’t create a new one. I know they were purchaed by Twilio, but when I selected Twilio for the zap it doesn’t give me the option I need.

Has anyone else experienced this or know why it’s happening or when it will be fixed?

Hi @Christine C

SendGrid app integration has 0 triggers available and 4 actions available: https://zapier.com/apps/sendgrid/integrations#triggers-and-actions

@Christine C

If you are trying to use SendGrid as a Zap trigger, then you need to use SendGrid Webhooks.

Help: https://www.twilio.com/docs/sendgrid/for-developers/tracking-events/getting-started-event-webhook

Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook

This will generate a unique webhook URL to configure in SendGrid.

Hi @Christine C 👋 Just wanted to check how you got on with Troy’s suggestion to use Webhooks for the trigger instead?

Let us know if that approach did the trick, or if you could do with some more help on this.
