I’m experiencing an issue with a Zap I’ve set up using Google Sheets as the trigger and ActiveCampaign as the action.
Here’s my setup:
- I have a Google Form linked to a Google Sheet where responses are stored.
- In the Google Sheet, I’ve added formulas to determine whether a contact qualifies or not based on their responses (e.g., columns with
=IF()
formulas). - I’m using the column with the email addresses to map the “Email Address” field in ActiveCampaign.
The issue:
When I test the Zap, the email column doesn’t seem to map correctly in Zapier, and it displays “no data” in the email field during the trigger test. This is causing problems with sending the data to ActiveCampaign, as the email field is required.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Verified that the email column in Google Sheets has data (no empty cells).
- Refreshed the trigger fields in Zapier.
- Added new rows manually with valid email data and tested the trigger again.
- Re-linked the Google Form to a new Google Sheet and re-applied the logic formulas.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists.
Question:
Has anyone encountered a similar issue with mapping data from Google Sheets, especially when using formulas? Any suggestions or workarounds to ensure Zapier correctly reads and maps the email field would be greatly appreciated!
