I have a Zap setup where when a “new user in intercom” (signup) occurs, to send a field to a slack channel with the contents being an Intercom Custom Attribute. This is an optional field upon signup so it’s not always there.
I would say this zap works correctly 10% of the time, and sends so many blanks and duds.
Anyone have ideas on how I can fix this?

Hi @Geniuslink
Can you post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode along with with examples to provide context about what you mean about the blanks and duds?
Hey Troy,
Appreciate your quick response.
The Zap starts with a new user in intercom. The “Test” user is someone who has this optional custom field filled out.
It then sends a channel message
Here’s where it goes wrong:
Many times, there’s an Empty field for “How Did You Hear About Us”. Sometimes it just straight up misses submissions that have the field filled out.
Let me know if this makes sense?
@Geniuslink
You can add a Filter step to check for the existence of variable values before sending the data to Slack.
