When setting up a connection to Affinda, using good and valid API Keys, the zap connection fails with ‘invalid token’. Tried lot of times but no success….

Hey @ctoFract,

Please post screenshots of the authentication error for us to have more context. Each Affinda user will have their own API keys to manage within their user profile settings.

Even after using correct API key if it’s not working, I would recommend contacting the Zapier support here- https://zapier.com/app/get-help as there might be some problem with the integration.

If it’s important for you, you can directly query the Affinda API using webhooks in Zapier. Here is a helpful article about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496326446989-Send-webhooks-in-Zaps. Here is the API documentation- https://docs.affinda.com/reference/getting-started.

I know it can get a bit more technical and complex but if it’s important for you, you can give this approach a try. Hope it helps!

PS: If you need more active help, I’m happy to connect through my Zapier Solution Partner page if you’d like to reach out here- https://zapier.com/partnerdirectory/automation-jinn

Hi there @ctoFract 👋

I see you reached out to our Support team to look into this and can see it’s still not solved. If the API Keys you’re using are valid then it could be that there’s a bug with the Affinda app that’s causing these errors 🤔 In which case, our Support team will be able to open up a bug report for Affinda’s developers to investigate further.

That said, just wanted to check whether you’ve also reached out to Affinda’s support team like Troy suggested? They may have better insight into whether there’s any issues with the API Keys or your Affinda account/setup that might be causing those “invalid token” errors.

Keep us posted on what they say, want to make sure this gets sorted!
