I want to use JIRA (free version) and automate sending messages to members on Discord through ZAPIER.
The goal is: when a member changes the status of a subtask in JIRA, a message will be automatically sent in Discord saying that the subtask {subtask name} has been completed to a designated member.
Currently, I can only send the KEY name, but for project members, they won’t know what the specific task is.

However, the difficulty I’m facing is that
I cannot find an appropriate setting in the Discord Configure message text section in ZAPIER.
I’m unable to find the name of the subtask that changed its status in the message text.
Please tell me how to set this up. Thank you.

Hi @blackdog,

Welcome to the Community.

If you're having trouble pulling subtask names from JIRA into your Zap for Discord, ensure the JIRA trigger is correctly configured. Test the trigger to confirm subtask names are included in the data and adjust the settings if needed. If the data is present, you should be able to select the subtask name when setting up your Discord message. If issues persist, contact Zapier Support for further assistance.

I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.
