I want to link my Google Cal to a Notion database. I understand that I will need two separate Zaps for new/updated events and recurring events. I am starting with the new/updated events zap first and have encountered continuous issues.

This is the configuration in the Notion Action in Zapier:

All selections are also inserted into the Content tab.

Can anyone advise on why I continue to get this error?

Note: I have already tried following the Google Cal - Notion template: https://zapier.com/apps/google-calendar/integrations/notion

@Troy Tessalone Many thanks for these initial suggestions and apologies for posting the wrong viewer. It seems, I have gotten the New and Update Action to work. However, I often also work with recurring events. I read that a separate Zap needs created for this, using the Event Start action. I set a recurring test event to try it out. I am able to get this event to sync with Notion; however, the zap appears to add the event happening in 15 minutes and also its recurring instance in my Notion database. Could you advice whether I might have wrong setting here?

Note: My other Zap (for New/Update Event) is also active as well.

Zap trigger: GCal - New or Updated Event

Field: Expand Recurring Events

Check the field tooltip.

Hey @anelson11, just checking in! 👋

Did Troy’s tip about the Expand Recurring Events option help to get the Zap triggering individually for each recurring event?

Want to make sure you’re all set here, so let us know if you still need any help! 🙂
