In this Zap, what I want to do is the following:

A user fills out a Google Form, and when a new row is inserted into the response sheet, this should trigger the creation of a new item in a Notion database I have, with all the information.

This has been working fine so far. However, today I added a new field both in the form and in Zapier — a Date type field to register the response in Notion. The problem is that when creating the item, the Notion field of type Date does not appear for mapping (when mapping Google Sheet responses, the new field called “Date of birth” does appear, so that part is fine — the issue is specifically with the Notion integration).

I’ve already tried the following:

  • Refreshing the database fields in the configure step in Zapier

  • Deleting the connection with Notion

  • Re-adding the connection with Notion

  • Making sure I have the right permissions to access the database

  • Making sure it is indeed a database and not just a page

  • Making sure the field in Notion is a Date type, not a rollup or formula (although, for testing, I also added text and number fields, and those didn’t show up either — but what I really need is just the Date)

  • Rebuilding the Zap from scratch in a new automation so Zapier would fetch the database schema again

Nothing has worked, and I’m really frustrated.

Here is the property in my notion database

The database is connected to zapier
The connection is all right, it works
But the field is not display

Hi @virtual22

Did you try these?

  • Did you try duplicating the Zap?
  • Did you try duplicating the Zap step?
  • Did you try copy/pasting the Zap step?
  • Did you try recreating the Zap step as a brand new step?

Hi @virtual22

Did you try these?

  • Did you try duplicating the Zap?
  • Did you try duplicating the Zap step?
  • Did you try copy/pasting the Zap step?
  • Did you try recreating the Zap step as a brand new step?

I did duplicate the zap, I even made it again from scratch, nothing happened.
I did duplicate the zap step, nothing happened.
I just copy/paste the zap step, nothing changed.
I did recreate the zap step as a brand new step, as a matter of fact I recreate the entire zap and yet again nothing happened.

When I said nothing happened I mean that still can't see the notions database's  property on zapier  I want to use, "Date of birth”

@virtual22

Check to make sure you have selected the correct Notion database by checking the internal ID in the field dropdown list vs the webpage URL.

Can you include more screenshots showing the Date of Birth field as part of the selected database in the Zap step?

It is not shown in the screenshot below.
