HubSpot to Monday.com connection - Comma issue

Hello! 

I have a property field in HubSpot that has a comma in it. When it transfers to the monday.com board, the comma separates the text and I don’t want it to. How do I format it so that it comes over in Monday correctly. 

Here is what the field looks like in HubSpot: 
 

Here is what I have in the Zap:

 

Here is how it shows up in Monday

 

I need it to come through on the Monday board as it looks in HubSpot Carve-In, $0 Patient Responsibility

I know there is a Formatter in HubSpot, but I can’t figure out how to use it so it comes through as what is exactly in HubSpot. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Try surrounding the value in double quotes like: “[VAR]”

​@Troy Tessalone I did this, but the quotes come in, and I don’t want that either.

You will either have to add a Zap step that replaces the comma with nothing or another value.

OR

You will have to use the Monday API to set the Board Column value.

Hey ​@SRainbolt,

If you want to keep the comma, try changing the column field to plain text from Monday side. After that it will not be separated into two parts. Hope it helps!
