Hi! I have a Jotform and trying to set up a Zap to upload assets to Canva. I’m not quite sure what to put for “name”.
I’ve tried different inputs and get these error messages:
The app returned "file format could not be detected".

For us to have more context about the error, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

What type of file format are you trying to upload to Canvas? Here is a helpful article about supported file types in Canva- https://www.canva.com/en_in/help/upload-formats-requirements/. See if your filetype supports it and it’s under the limitation. Also make sure if it’s a URL that its publicly accessible.
Otherwise, please post screenshots of Data In and Data Out as well as how each Zap step is configured for us to have more context. Hope it helps!

Make sure that in the trigger output from Jotform you are actually getting a link or a file. To test, open the link in an incognito browser. If it asks you to log into Jotform, or doesn’t open, then that means the file is not publicly accessible.
To fix this:
Log in to your Jotform account in a desktop browser → Click on your avatar/profile picture → Go to Settings → Go to the Security tab → Find the option called “Require Login to View Uploaded Files” under Privacy → Uncheck that box. If you do that, files should be accessible publicly (if someone has the link) and your Zap should be able to pull them without login issues.
If that resolves it, great. If not, then the issue might be related to the file type. In that case, check Canva’s help docs to confirm which file types are supported.
