How to stop Zapier from running on old data and only trigger on new items

I’m trying to stop my Zap from running on old or historical data.

I’ve already tried using the “Created At” field filter and also deleted all errored, delayed, and held tasks, but the Zap still keeps sending notifications for older data.

How can I make sure the Zap only runs for new items created after it’s turned on, and not for any historical ones?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey @zenj,

Usually Zap triggers for new data going forward. For us to have more context, can you post screenshots of Data In, Data Out as well as how each Zap step is configured?

Hi there @zenj 👋

Sounds like you got this sorted but just wanted to double-check what the solution was. Did the help guides Troy shared help point you in the right direction?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
