How to schedule data export from Pipedrive to Excel

Hi, I’d like to setup a scheduled export of activities from a specific filter in Pipedrive and save them in an Excel file. Unfortunately, my previous attempts were in vain and I just got empty files. The customized Pipedrive-URL of my company was is not accepted by Zapier so I tried to use the API token for a webhook. The result was also an empty Excel file. Does anybody have instructions on how to create the scheduled data export?

Hi @FabianBVGEnergy

For us to have more context, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

What you’ve described will likely involve using the Pipedrive API.

Hey there, @FabianBVGEnergy! 👋

Not sure if you were able to get this solved by hiring a Zapier Expert, but I did some checking on the available actions for Pipedrive and couldn’t find any specifically designed to generate an export. I’d suggest contacting our Support team to submit a new feature request for that type of action to be added. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help.

In the meantime, which endpoint were you using previously that returned an empty Excel file? It looks like they have an Get all activities (BETA) API endpoint that you could potentially use in a API Request (Pipedrive) action in a Zap to get the information for multiple activities.

Happy to lend a hand in setting up the request if you’re still stuck at all. And if you were able to get this sorted we’ve love it if you could share what the solution was—want to make sure you’re all set!
