I am using zaps that connect products in wix and thinkific. When adding the filter I can only choose the option (Text) Does not exactly match. What happens when one zap is triggered by a purchase is that it triggers other zaps as well - giving the customers more products then they bought. I think the problem is that I can’t choose the option (Text) Exactly matches or Contains.

Add a unique identifier (like a UUID) to each purchase record. This way, you can filter out duplicates by checking if the identifier already exists in your target app.

That is above my skill level! I don’t understand why I can’t choose the options I want so I can make sure it narrows the rule to the exact product name. Is it that Zapier is not able to extract enough data from wix?

@Silje

My understanding is you want the filter to

Only continue if “Product Name” Exactly matches “hvorden...”

OR

if “Product Name” Contains “hvorden...”

If this is what you are looking to do, you just need to click the +Add “Or” rule group below and set up the second part of the filter.

You can add as many and/or conditions as you like to make very complicated filters

Hope this helps, if the problem is different then we will need more details.

I figured it out. I misunderstood the “error message” - “your zap would not have continued...”. I thought it meant that it would not trigger with the settings I had. But I think it means that it wouldn’t be triggered with the Test Record that is underneath, that is product item: gold bracelete or something similar.

It would trigger only with the settings I chose and then stop as it should with the test record that doesn’t match.

It’s also new to me that all zaps that are linked to “ecommerce - order placed” are triggered by every purchase, but then all that are not relevant will stop when it reaches the filter. But as long as it works...

That’s awesome @Silje! We’re glad to hear that your Zap is up and running now.
