How to find the Sender ID for connecting Sage Intacct with Zapier

I am trying to connect Sage Intacct with Zapier, but I am running into a problem trying to find what my Sender ID is. Normally, that would be provided by the connecting agent (Zapier), but I cannot find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Justin8431245884

Help links for using Sage Intacct:

https://zapier.com/apps/sage-intacct/integrations#help

To find the Sender ID for Sage Intacct when connecting it to Zapier:

  1. Go into your Sage Intacct account as an Admin.
You need admin access with the Web Services subscription enabled. (Zapier Help Center)

  2. In Sage Intacct navigate to the Web Services settings. This is usually under:

    • CompanyAdminSubscriptions → Enable Web Services.

    • Then CompanySetupCompanySecurityWeb Services Authorizations. (docs.agaveapi.com)

  3. When enabled and authorized, your Sender ID is created and shown here.
It is part of the Web Services credentials you need to enter in Zapier along with the Sender Password. (Zapier Help Center)

  4. If you have never created a Web Services Sender ID, you must create one within Sage Intacct by adding a new Web Services user or asking your Sage Intacct admin support to provision it.
Only admins can do this. (Zapier Help Center)

In short, the Sender ID is not shown in Zapier.
You get it from within Sage Intacct’s Web Services setup.
Zapier needs that ID as part of the authentication fields when you connect Sage Intacct to a Zap. (Zapier Help Center)

Hello @Justin8431245884

In Sage Intacct, the “Sender ID” isn’t something Zapier generates for you.

Zapier connects to Sage Intacct using the Intacct Web Services credentials, which typically means you’ll need:
Company ID
User ID
User Password
and your Intacct Web Services Sender ID (issued by Intacct)

That Sender ID usually comes from Sage Intacct support or your Intacct admin, and it’s often tied to your account’s Web Services setup. If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to request it from Intacct.
