Dear all,

I’ve made a split text to extract multiple URLs from an email body text, as separate outputs. The output of the formatter gives good results (every URL as a separate output).

However, when I want to insert them as input for adding a new google sheet, they show as just 1 bundle of output, in stead of multiple separate outputs, I can only select from 1 output to use as input.

Anyone ideas how I can insert them as separate URLs in google sheets?

See attachments.

Thanks  in advance,

Dies

Select Create Multiple Spreadsheet Rows action which has line item support instead of Create Spreadsheet Row. Let me know if it works?

Hi @Dieswe,

I just came across your post here and wanted to check in here to see how you’re getting on. Were you able to test out @pranayshinde suggestion here?

Please do let us know if you’re still in need of some help on this at all - happy to assist further! 🙂

Hi @pranayshinde and @ken.a, (sorry for the late response)

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately it doesn’t work, since I still have only one output item to select from, when selecting the input for google sheets. I need every URL as a separate output item in the previous step (which it seems to generate).

@ken.a any tips? Pretty stuck.

Best, Dies

Hi @Dieswe,

To split multiple URLs from a single cell into separate cells within the same row in Google Sheets using Zapier, use multiple Formatter steps. First, apply the 'Split Text' Formatter to break the URLs. Then, add Formatter steps for each URL, using 'Split Text' again with the appropriate separator. Finally, map each output to a separate cell in the 'Create Spreadsheet Row' action. This method can be tedious for many URLs but ensures they stay within the same row.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
