I am trying to connect Humanity to Zapier and read data from there and put it in Smart Suite. Trigger i am selecting is from Humanity - Published Shifts. But in the Test Trigger i m not getting record and getting a message Create a published shifts in your account and test again.

I went to Humanity and created a shift but still i don’t see any records there.

A quick suggestion would we really helpful.

Thanks for the update @bhuppi2010!

Sorry to hear it didn’t trigger. I can’t hop on a call but I can see that you also reached out to our Support team about this and they identified that you’re running into a bug. They’ve submitted a bug report to for the developers of the Humanity app to get this fixed. Like they said, we can’t provide any sort of ETA on when it will be resolved by, but we’ll be sure to send you an email notification once it is.

In the meantime, are you able to get email notifications sent to you from Humanity whenever there’s a new published shift? If so, perhaps you set up an email forwarding rule to automatically forward those emails to an app like Email Parser by Zapier, and use that for the trigger: Trigger Zaps from new parsed emails. If the email notifications contain the necessary details for the shift then it would be able to extract those details from the email and pass it over to SmartSuite. Do you think that approach could work?

Hi @bhuppi2010

For us to have more context, post screenshots showing the encountered message in the Humanity Zap trigger step after testing.

If you still need help, try reaching out to Humanity Support for help with their Zap app integration.

Zap Trigger: Humanity - Published Shifts

Triggers when a new Shift is published or an existing published Shift is modified.
This applies to Shifts with or without employees and returns results grouped by Shift.

Hey there @bhuppi2010 👋

Were you able to get the Zap triggering, or are you still having some trouble getting it working?

If it’s still not working, are you able to skip the test and use the default test record to setup the Zap? If it the default test record doesn’t contain the fields you need, then I’d suggest turning the Zap on and publishing a new shift to get it to trigger. Then you can use that live Zap run for the test record to access the missing fields and can set up the Zap.

Let us know whether you still need any help at all, want to make sure you’re all set!

Hey SamB,

Thank you for your response!

Actually I have turned on the Zap and published it. Then i went in Humanity and created some shifts and published those shifts as well. But still the zap didn’t trigger and there is nothing in the Run history of that Zap as well. I am blocked on this part. Rest every other information like Leave Summary, Employee information is flowing properly as expected but the Published Shift data not getting read through Zapier is really affecting my deliverables. A quick assistance will be really helpful.

Let me know if we can have a call for the same.

Thanks

Hi Troy,

The the Zap says “Create shift for your account”.

What i did was:
1. I created the Zap and Published it.

2  I went to Humanity and created and published some shifts

But still the Zap didn’t run.

I connected with Humanity support team as well but they stated that its an issue on Zapier’s side.

I’ll be glad if i could get some quick help from the Zapier’s assistance team on this front.

Hi Sam,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, i am getting emails on my account about the shifts i am booked into. But i am building a client automation in which i need to bring in the Published Shift data by employee into smartsuite and because of this issue my deliverables are getting hampered.

Also, i have got a response from the tech support team and they are putting this on Humanity and Humanity tech support is putting this issue on Zapier. Because of this now there are questions and concerns getting raised on using Zapier going forward.

I would kindly request immediate support and resolution on this.
