How do I remove the tab title when I export a google doc as a pdf?

I have a zap that creates a google doc from a template, and I select pdf as the export option in one step.

In the next step I use zapier’s email tool to email the pdf document. 

The issue is that the exported pdf always includes the title of the tab as an extra first page. This is a problem, as the automatically emailed pdf is intended to be a 1-pager.

What should I screenshot and upload? The zap? The pdf? Sorry, this IS my first rodeo.

Screenshots to support what you are referring to in your topic post.

  • How your Zap steps are outlined
  • How your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
  • Generated PDF that shows the extra page, etc.

I don’t see any issues with the fields in the Zap. Could you please send a screenshot of the Template in Google Docs?

I don’t see any issues with the template itself. I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Team to investigate this issue further since they have the correct tools to look closer at the Zap and its logs.
