Hey all!

I’m trying to set an automation to upload to Hootsuite from an Airtable table, everything links properly but I’m getting this error back

I’m assuming this is because it couldn’t upload my video to Hootsuite in the 30 seconds that actions get to complete (from what I’ve read) (the file is about 100mb)

Is there any way to extend the time that the Zap has to complete?

Thanks so much

You may need to compress the file before trying to send via the Zap.

Hey @Troy Tessalone - thanks so much for helping out.

I’m having the same issue with CloudConvert, where it can’t complete the conversion before the timeout

I have the “Wait for completion” option selected here:

Looking in the Tasks tab of CloudConvert, it keeps on converting and outputs an Export URL but Zapier can’t seem to pick it up because it’s already timed out.

Maybe there’s a way to set a delay on the Zap and then go look for the Export URL after a few minutes? I couldn’t figure out how to do that though.

Thanks so much.

@sallyoz

Try running the CloudConvert Zap action step when the Zap is ON.

@Troy Tessalone Turned on the Zap, still receiving this Error 😫

Thanks!

For us to have more context, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode.

By adding a delay, you give the conversion process time to complete before Zapier tries to proceed with the next step. You can find more detailed instructions in Zapier's help documentation and community forums.

@LautaroNores Are this answer AI generated? You just repeated back to me what I said here:

Do you know how to get the Export URL from CloudConvert in a second action? I can’t figure it out.

Thanks so much

@Troy Tessalone Thanks - I’m not exactly sure what to screenshot so here’s a few, if there’s anything else you need let me know!

When I select “Test step” on the last screenshot is when it times out

Thanks again
