Help with Wordpress Connection

I’m trying to connect PaidMemberships Pro on my Wordpress site to Mailerlite. I have gotten PMP connected but when I go to “Test Trigger” it’s giving me the following error: 

 

Error code: Error while retrieving: The app returned "<p>There has been a critical error on this website.</p><p><a href="https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/faq-troubleshooting/">Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.</a></p>".

 

There’s no additional information or error code number. I don’t see a critical error on my site when I look at the debug log and everything runs fine. How can I find more information on what the error actually is? Additionally, I tried it on a second site that has a different theme but is with the same hosting company and received the same error.

@ken.a  I did follow those directions with PMP and authenticated it correctly. Here are two screenshots of my Zap showing where the error pops up.

I believe you are getting a 500 error when testing the trigger step. Do you have a bunch of security plugins that’s installed in your WordPress app? If so, could you please try disabling them 1 by 1 and try testing the trigger again.

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!


@ken.a I went through and disabled anything to do with security and tested the trigger a few times (gave it about 30 minutes just to make sure things were registering) and it’s still popping up with the same error.

Unfortunately, I have exhausted my resources regarding the error you’re running into. I recommend reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro support as they maintain and update their integration in Zapier.
