The Challenge: I'm trying to integrate Typeform submissions into Lead Connector (GoHighLevel), but I'm running into issues with how multiple-answer questions are being processed and mapped.

What I'm trying to achieve:

  • Seamlessly transfer Typeform responses to Lead Connector
  • Properly map and store multiple choice selections (checkboxes/multi-select questions)
  • Ensure all form data is correctly formatted and accessible in Lead Connector for follow-up workflows

What I've tried so far:

  • Direct Typeform-to-GHL integration (native connector)
  • Zapier integration with custom field mapping
  • Webhook setup from Typeform to Lead Connector
  • Various field mapping configurations

Specific Issues I'm facing:

  1. Multiple choice answers aren't being transferred as readable lists
  2. Data sometimes comes through as arrays or comma-separated values that don't display properly in Lead Connector
  3. Custom field mapping seems inconsistent between different question types
  4. Some submissions create incomplete contact records

What I'm looking for:

  • Best practices for handling multiple choice/checkbox data in this integration
  • Recommended field types and mapping strategies in Lead Connector
  • Any middleware solutions (like Zapier formatter steps) that work reliably
  • Alternative integration methods that handle complex form data better

Additional context: The Typeform contains a mix of single-choice, multiple-choice, and text fields. The multiple-choice questions are crucial for lead qualification and routing in my follow-up sequences.

Has anyone successfully solved this integration challenge? What approach worked best for you?

Thanks in advance for any insights!
