Help with Dropbox 'Binary contents unsupported.'

I’m trying to sync my markdown files from Dropbox to Airtable.

Here's a screenshot of my setup and the structure of the markdown file I'm working with. The text after “variation” is the main content, while the words before it are file properties. I would like to sync all if possible, but the text only would also work.

I think these file properties might be causing the problem. Is there a way to ignore them, or do you think the issue lies elsewhere?

Hi @paoloap

Can you post screenshots showing the encountered error/issue with the Zap step?

Hi there @paoloap 👋

I think you’re right about the file properties being the cause! I’ve seen that error before where a file contained special characters like % weren’t supported. So it could be the emojis in the file properties are what’s causing issues here.

Can you make a copy of the file and remove all those emojis then upload it to Dropbox again? Then load it in as a new test record to see if that gets rid of that “Binary contents unsupported” value from the field?

Looking forward to hearing from you on this!
