GUID Error: "Guid should contain 32 digits"

So I have a Zap that when a new row is created in our SQL, a credit note is sent to Xero.

However I have this error message about

Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes

This is linked to the “Contact Field”.

If I choose a random contact from Xero (from the dropdown list) the Zap works.

However, if I choose the field called “contact” from the new row that has been created in the SQL, I get this GUID error

“Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes”

I appreciate that contacts in Xero have a G~UID number, but I don’t know what that number is in the SQL table.

Anyone any thoughts or ideas?

many thanks

ian

Hey there, @IanKerry!

I wanted to pop in and see if you were able to find a solution for this? If you haven’t would you mind sharing some screenshots of your current zap setup (with any personal info obscured) in addition to the error message? This may help the community get you pointed in the right direction! 🙂
