I have a column of month in my Google Sheet. The month data are presented in 3 letters format (e.g. Sep). Since the available lookup value provided are just in one digit or full date format, I would like to know if I can format the lookup value as shown in the picture below. I tried but the test returns error, no records found.

Good question.
To my knowledge, you can’t use formulas in the Lookup Value.
Try to add a Formatter > Date & Time > Format step first.
