I’ve tried numerous times and watched tutorial. No error message and connection are good, but when I test and add another entry in the Goolge sheet, it doesn’t enter the designated list. Any suggestions?

Hi @Mshadrick

Help us have more info by posting these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings
  • check your Zap Runs to see activity and details about the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Thanks for your quick response.

I tried to check the Zap Runs under history, but there was nothing there. Here’s the screenshots.

I’m at a loss. I’ve created other Zaps but Google sheet is being difficult.

Thank you.

Marisa

@Mshadrick

Did you try publishing the Zap to turn the Zap ON, then test live?

Can you post screenshots showing how your GSheet top 3 rows are configured?

NOTE: The Zap trigger being used will fire for NEW rows AND for UPDATED rows when the specified column is updated.

I recommend adding a Filter as Zap step 2 to check there is an email address to prevent errors in the AC Zap step.

Thank you for the feedback.

I always make sure the Zap is On. If I temporarily work on the Zap, I turn it off and then back on.

As far as a Filter, I went back to the Free plan because I typically use direct integration.

That said, a Filter is an option but shouldn’t be the only way a Zap works.

@Mshadrick

Try duplicating the Zap.

Alternative is to use Airtable instead of GSheets.

Starting over and creating a new Zap fixed the problem. I just tested it and it worked.

I appreciate all you help and patience.

Thank you, Troy.

That’s great news @Mshadrick! We’re glad to hear that recreating the Zap resolved the issue here.
