My Zap gets a Google My Business Review and then replies to it as per your documented steps of actions I setup correctly. I then do a test and the review is replied to in Google Reviews for that business location. However, when I published and activated/toggled the Zap to “On”, new reviews arrive and the Zap never executes. I included a screenshot of a successful test. Then I included a screenshot of a filed execution when live. Since that time I executed that failed execution via another Zap test and it worked like the initial test did for another review. We do not believe the Zap is working in live mode and we need help as to why. The Zap is at https://zapier.com/shared/6c6696ed24a874bacf37a21369a455760b0a94a5

 

First test worked great!

So with this one I retested and the test then worked. But in live it did not.

Check your Zap Runs for the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step to help you troubleshoot why the error happened: https://zapier.com/app/history/

 

Please post detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured in order for us to have more context.

 

FYI: The GMB Zap trigger is scheduled, not instant.

Polling trigger: the majority of triggers are polling triggers.

With a polling trigger, Zapier will request data from your trigger every 1 to 15 minutes in order to start your Zap, depending on your pricing plan.

 


Thanks for the reply. Thats the issue - in history for this Zap there is none. Yet we received new reviews greater than 2 stars. But fact is upon testing, all works 100%. In production, nothing is executing. It’s Published and On.

PS: I did review data in/out flow history for other working Zaps and that shows history and metrics like you refer to. This Zap has none, zero. We have the premium MTM 29.99 plan.

 

Zap Steps:

  1. Captures GMB Review per my GMB account/location
  2. Filters on review to allow next step. If review rating > 2 then proceed.
  3. Replies to review via same GMB account.
  4. Sends an Email to me with Review data details.

None of these steps execute at all in live mode.

As Tamir discovered, what you encountered was an issue where some Zap runs from the Zap history weren’t showing up. Looks like our engineers got this squared away and your Zap passed through!
