Gmail Zap not triggering automatically

Hi,

I’ve added a gmail trigger under New Labelled email condition to create a Clickup Task. I’ve tested it and it works when run manually, but it doesn’t get triggered automatically.

Hi @CrossFit Ceylon! 👋

You can see if a trigger is a scheduled (polling) or instant trigger from within your Zap by looking at the available options in the Event field dropdown menu on the trigger.

If you see a “Instant” tag next to the name of the trigger event then it’s an instant trigger. If there isn’t a tag present then it’s a scheduled trigger.

Here’s an example of the “Instant” tag would appear:

And here’s how scheduled triggers would appear (without any “Instant” tags):

You can learn more about the difference between scheduled (polling) and non-scheduled (instant) triggers here: Trigger types

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any further questions or if we can help with anything else at all. 🙂

Hi @CrossFit Ceylon

Good question.

The Zap trigger is scheduled, meaning it can take from 1-15 minutes to fire depending on your Zapier plan.

Check your Zap Runs history for activity/issues: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hi,

Thank you! Is there a way to see if triggers set are scheduled or not scheduled from our account?
