Gmail not sending as specified sender

Hi - I am trying to send an email using Gmail and even though I have the ‘From’ set up as the additional account linked to my Gmail and the ‘From Name’ filled out, it’s still sending as my name from my personal email address.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi - this is resolved now! I realised that my additional account was not verified in Gmail! Thanks

Hi @laurenet9,

This is a known quirk of the Gmail integration. The email will be sent from the primary email address if the From Name contains a comma or a colon.

If you can remove the comma from the From Name, the email should correctly be sent from the alternate.

Please give this a try and let us know if the issue persists.

Thanks for your response, however the issue still persists…

I even tried removing the From Name altogether, and still no luck.
