I created a Squarespace ↔️ Gmail zap , with an autoreply.

 

Example:

  1. Squarespace Form with subject Blah lands in Gmail
  2. Created an auto-reply when form Blah arrives in Gmail, send auto-reply message to recipient email address
  3. Login to recipient email to check auto-reply message. Noticed that Subject = Delivery Status Notification (Failure).

Any ideas why the auto-reply subject says ‘Delivery Status Notification (Failure)’ ?

Please post detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured to help give us context.

Also, check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step to help you troubleshoot:


Thanks Troy. I checked DATA IN/DATA OUT and did see a SUBJECT field included.

NOTE: The Zap action step for Gmail is configured to always use this same Thread, so you should change it to use the Thread ID mapped from Step 1.
