I’ve been trying to capture the .pdf/.doc attachment from the gmail emails i receive and put them in a specific google drive.

Zapier saves a link to an AWS bucket, which stops me from capturing the attachments from my gmail emails and sending them to google drive.

Assuming I’m not doing anything wrong, what’s the way around this?

Hi @dina

Use this Zap trigger: Gmail - New Attachment

If you only want specific file types to be uploaded to GDrive, then add a Filter as Step 2: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

With the New Attachment Zap, I’m getting api errors -which is weird.

every other google connected zap works just fine with no errors, using gmail too. we’re doing lots of zaps at all hours of the day.

It’s been 3 days and it’s still the same error, though.
I’m personally familiar with Google Cloud but am I meant to personally go in and start handling api backoffs, etc. Where do I go to access the Google Cloud service account my zapier account uses?

Isn’t the point that zapier handles all this on their end?

well, either way, it’s fixed now. I guess either someone looked at it or the quota limits reset. The new attachment zap doesn’t have errors.

That’s great news @dina! We’re glad to hear that the issue is now resolved!

Also, a huge thanks to Troy for lending a hand here!
