GitHub Mentions Absolute URL Error

I have a few Zaps with GitHub triggers, most of which seem to be working fine. However, the new mention trigger has started giving me the following error:

Error while retrieving: Only absolute URLs are supported

Have others encountered this error, and if so, what was the fix? I thought that I had all of the permissions required by the trigger as described in the docs, but for some reason this one has started to fail.

Hi @jashapiro,

Welcome to the Community.

To address errors with Zapier’s API calls to GitHub, try refreshing the GitHub connection in Zapier, verify your permissions for the repository, and ensure the repository is accessible. Recreating the Zap may also help resolve issues.

Let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you

I had previously tried all of these. The only thing that seems to work at the moment is returning to the GitHub Legacy app.

Hi @jashapiro,

So just to clarify that after reverting back to Legacy GitHub app, now everything is working?

Yes, it seems to be. The new GitHub app works fine for my other Zaps, but consistently fails for mentions. For now, at least, the legacy app is working for mentions.
