Hi! I have successfully created a Zap that uses a Mighty Network Quick Post Trigger to send an email to a Google Group. But the email comes through with no formatting...It doesn't pick up the HTML Links, Hashtags or even paragraph returns in the “QuickPost Summary”. Mighty tells me they cant fix it on their end. Any suggestions for how to maintain the formatting from a Mighty Quick Post into an email?

Hi @CommunityBuilder

For us to have more info, post these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible

This is how the Zap is Set up
This is the post on Mighty it’s pulling from (for example)
this is how it appears in an email.

In the Gmail Email Body field, the variable mapped from Medium in Zap step 1 would need to include the HTML to use.

Perhaps there is a different variable to map that has HTML or Markdown formatting.

Otherwise, if the Post Summary from Medium is stripped of the HTML/Markdown formatting, then you won’t be able to send a structured HTML email.

Hey @CommunityBuilder, just checking in—did Troy help to point you in the right direction here?

Thanks. Unfortunately it’s an issue that Mighty Networks needs to resolve on their end. If Zapier has any ability to push for this change, I’d appreciate it!

Hi @CommunityBuilder,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Mighty Networks integration. While Zapier doesn’t control third-party app features, we can pass your request to the Mighty Networks team through our partner channels. More user interest can help prioritize such changes, so encouraging others to share similar feedback is helpful. In the meantime, we’re happy to suggest workarounds or alternative solutions using Zapier’s existing tools. Stay tuned for updates, and let us know if you need further assistance—we’re here to help.
