I am trying to create a formatter to split text. When I create the formatter aDnd select "split text" in the "configure" tab, nothing happens and there is no place for me to input values, seperators, etc. Why is this?

Hi @BR2227,

Welcome to the Community.

You're on the right track using "Split Text" in Formatter by Zapier, but if the configuration options aren't showing, it's likely a rendering issue. This can happen if the step doesn't fully load, your browser has a glitch or cache problem, or you're using Zapier's beta UI with dark mode and AI Copilot. Try refreshing the step, switching steps, reloading the tab, using a different browser or incognito mode, clearing your cache, or switching to light mode. Usually, you should see fields for Input, Separator, and Segment Index. If not, it's a UI hiccup, not your fault.

Let me know if refreshing the step or switching browsers helps. If not, I'd recommend reporting this to Zapier Support so they can dig into any possible bugs on the backend.

Hey @BR2227 👋

Did Jammer’s suggestions help to get the rest of the fields on that Split Text Formatter action loaded correctly?

Want to make sure this got sorted, so please keep us posted on how it went! 🙂
